Dada Tour in Zurich's District 1

Between 1916 and 1919, the Dadaists in Zurich set impulses that were to have a lasting influence on the arts worldwide. Zurich is not only home to the Cabaret Voltaire, the place where Dada originated, but also to one of the most important Dada collections in the Kunsthaus Zürich.

This guided tour with Cabaret Voltaire director Salome Hohl and Kunsthaus curator Cathérine Hug connects the two houses and takes you to other Dada venues, revealing the milieu and places where the Dada movement was born and developed. The meeting point is in front of the Cabaret Voltaire. The tour ends at the Kunsthaus Zürich: in the Dada cabinet and finally in front of the Max Ernst painting in the Kunsthaus bar. The price includes the guided tour and the Dada Pocket Guide.
